SCULLING MATCH.
MESSENGER DEFEATS KEMP. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. SYDNEY, 11th July. A sculling race between Charles Messenger and Syd. Kemp, for £100 a side, was rowed on the Parramatta yesterday afternoon. Both men were suffering from influenza. Messenger won by a length. Time, 21min 35sec. Messenger collapsed when passing the judge's boat, but Kemp kept him from falling overbourd.
