EXTENSIONS AT TE ARO HOUSE.

To make room for their r>\ er-increasing business, tho proprietors of Te Aro House, Cuba and Dixon street-, decided on remodelling of the riremincs and an enlargement facing Dixon-strcet 'Io thin encl tho tradesmen are hard at work at present on the premises making tho alterations and additions. The chief alteration occurs in the top story, which up till a short time ago contained twelve workrooms, lliesa have been converted into one continuous j showroom of expansivo proportions the length being 170 feat. The new room, which has been entirely remodelled and rocast, is bpacious and well lit. The ceiling is particularly handsome —a geometrical pannelled design picked out in heart of kauri.
