WOOL SALES.
BRADFORD MARKET FIRM. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received July 10, 8.15 a.m.) LONDON, 9th July. At the London wool sales, the Gear clip realised 83d per lb. The Bradford market is firm, but business somewhat quiet. Quotations are irregular, with average "tops" unchanged. STRONG DEMAND FOR GOOD SORTS. (Received July 10, 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, 9th July. At the wool sales there was strong competition for all good sorts, but a slow sale for faulties. Prices were in buyers' favour. Dalgety and Co. have received the following cable message from their London house, under date Bth instant :—: — "Wool sales continue with increasing spirit. Prices unchanged. American buyers are operating moderately."
