In the Lower House of Convocation at Canterbury yesterday, there was a- debate on the question of optional instead of compulsory recital of the Athanasian Creed. Recommendations were adopted urging the retention of the Creed, without the existing rubric, and the making of provision for tho liturgical use of the Creed without warning clauses. A committee was appointed to consider how best these pioposah could be carried out.
