. « A NEW AIRSHIP. TRIP OVER THE IRISH SEA. 3y Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. LONDON, 7th July. A private syndicate, with capital totalling £250,000, is being formed to work Dr. M. Boyd's new airship. The doctor and two companions crossed the Irish Channel, with the utmost secrecy, in the night time during last May, at a height of 3500 feet, travelling in four hours a distance of ninety miles. They landed near Belfast, and recrossed j the Channel the following night. Dr. Boyd admits that his airship was the mysterious one repotted to have been seen at Caerphilly, Cardiff, Northampton, and cleevvheie about that time.
