Pikipo, Kopu and Maku did seven furlqnqs in company, and finished in the order named. Polyanthus and Gold Dust went once lound, and finished to--gethei. Awha finish*. 1 ii front of Magenta and Cork ove- five furlongs in lmin 7ijsee. Pohutn finished strongly two lengths in front of Lamsdorf after once round in lmin 46£ sec. Vi covered six furlongs in good style. Corazon, alonp, went once round the hurdles in 2min 2sec. Lebeccio and Nadine started once round the hurdles, but the latter fell at the first fence. She afterwards gave a good display by herself. Forest Commander, in two minutes,, completed a round of the schooling hurdles. Atanui went two rounds at a slow pace. Jack Pot was restiicted to three rounds on the sand. He revelled in this work. Coy negotiated once rotind over country *in fine style.
