SUPREME COURT.
The criminal sittings of the Supreme Court were resumed before Mr. Justice Cooper to-day, when a single man named Harry Ballantyne, a gardener by occupation, living at the Upper Hutt, was charged with an attempted unnatural offence on 2oth July at the Upper Hutt. The foreman of the jury was Mr. W. Crabtree. Mr. Myers appeared on behalf of the Crown, and Mr. Wilford for the accused. The case was not concluded when The Post .went to press.
