HOROWHENUA REPRESENTATIVES. [By Telegraph. — Special to The Post.] OTAKI, This Day. Horowhenua B team against Wellington at Manakau to-morrow will consist of : — Ryder, Frank Cootes, M'lnness, Bevan, Winiata, G. E. Orge, Cordillo, Royal, Kehu, R. Bevan, Saxon (2), Cootes, Ropata, Timms. The meeting of Wellington and Horowhenua footballers at the Athletic Park to-morrow afternoon is expected to attract a good number of enthusiasts. The team representing Wellington is composed chiefly of men playing representative football for the first time, and in consequence their performance will be • watched with more than ordinary interest. Hitchings having signified his inability to play, his placo will be taken !by Poole. Avery, who played such a fine game against South Canterbury, injured his ankle in that match, and his place will be filled by Knight, of I Petone. The visiting team is as follows : — Anderson, Cooke, Horo, Wharaeo, Uma, Sam Cootes, Fred. Cootes, King, Wilson, Scia Scia, Fraser, Parata, Winiata, Koro, M'Kenzie. Winiata is not the representative player so well | known to Wellington people, but a younger brother. Prior to the representative game, the referees' of the city will try conclusions with ' the referees from Petone. The Wellington team will i play Wanganui to-morrow, and as several players are unable to play, Ready 4 of Petone, went North this morning to take part in the game. A notice to junior representatives playing Horowhenua to-morrow appears in this issue.
