MOTOR CAR AND HORSE COLLIDE.
SEVERAL MEN SEVERELY INJURED. HORSE KILLED. [BY TELKGBAPH. — TRESS ASSOCIATION.] MARTON, This Day. A serious motor accident occurred to Lynn M'Kolvie's motor car with seven occupants, whilo ' going homo from a Bulls sale yesterday afternoon. The car had reached somo distanco beyond Parewanui school when a horse jumping from a fence came in collision with it and capsized tho car. The \\holo of tho occupants of tho car were more or less soverely injured. 1 Dr. Watson was telephoned for, and Dr. Martin, from Palmerston, arrived shortly after. An umbulance was also sent /for, and two of the injured party were taken to Palmerston Hospital, the other sufferers being attended 'to on tho spot. Among tho occupants, besides L. M'Kelvie, were Messrs. Amon (2), J. Sim, Atkinson, and two others, Sam Amon had his tfiigh broken, Bert Amon his ankle broken, and the others escaped more lightly. The car was badly injured and the horse killed.
