The weather was fine, but threatening, and I a cold wind prevailed- /There was a larga attendance. The totalisator invest-ments-for' the day were £5027 10s, as against £8491 for the third day last' year, making a total of £20,301 10s for' the meeting, as compared with ■£22,921. for tlie Cup meeting in 1907.
