AdCCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
[BT TELEGRAPH. — PBES3 ASSOCIATION.] INVERCARGILL, 11th February. Edward Coleman, a Glenham settler, was driving milk to a factory this morning when his trap was overturned by collision with a post. Colemau fell underneath and was killed. DANNEVIRKE, 11th February. This afternoon two boys were playing with what is supposed to have been a dynamite cap, which exploded. One boy, Tom M'Dermott, had his- fingers badly shattered and one eye nearly blown out. Tho lad was removed to the hospital, but small hope is held out of saving his sight. AUCKLAND, 11th February. Miss Josephine Hurley, aged twenty years, residing with her step-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Goode, was knocked down by a tram-car in Symonds-street to-night and received severe injuries.
