RESIGNATION OF SIR WILLIAM OWEN. By TclejrMnh.— Press Association.- Copyright. (Received February 5, 10.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Sir William Owen has resigned his judgeship. The Hon. Sir William Owen was born in 1334, being a son of the Lite Colonel Owen of the 72nd Highlanders. He was educated at Cheltenham College and Trinity College, Dublin (prizeman and medallist). Called to the Bar in 1859. and to tho New South Wales Bar in 1860, he became a Q.C. in 1882, and was appointed Chief Judge in Equity in 1887.
