Vaughanj b Barnes 15 Healy, not out 7 Woodford, uot out 13 Total for ono wicket 35 The Victorians shaped very poorly against tho bowling of Barnes and lilythe, and wero all out for- the smallest total thw tour against tho Englishmen. None of the players offered a stout resistance, and thcro were but three double figures. Vaughan and Fry, it will lie remembered, I visited /New Zealand with different teams font by tho Molboiirno club. The former has ecorod consistently in club cricket in the last two or three seasons, whilst Fry is the stock bowler for Collingwood. Tho Britishers found no difficulty in making runs, and when they had lost four wickets for 241 runs they declared tho innings closed, which left tho Victorians 500 to mako to win. Hobbs' century is the second to his credit, whilst tho Kent crack and Gunn also contributed good totals. Carroll, of East Melbourne, bagged three wickets for a good 'average, but the* others wero freely punished. Tho game should bo finished early to-day.
