KARORI RIFLE CLUB.
♦ The Karori Rifle Club continued its competition for prizes presented by Messrs. Hecksher, \. C. Pearce, Judd and Randell, Beddell, ' and Owen Daly. For the third time this season the club failed to finish a long range competition, 3iid_ to make up the leeway it has been decided to keep a target going on the long range next Saturday to enable members to completo their firing in tho time- | between the ranges of next Saturday's match, which is to be at 200 and 600 yards. Of those who competed their firing on Saturday, President Jackson was hignest, with 48, and a handicap man, in Rifleman M'Laren, came second. Rifleman Rabe, with 44, got tho second best scratch score.
