WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. A mooting of Iho Wellington Cricket Association was hold last evening in Artnit s Rooms. Present— Messrs. C A Eie-hardaon, S. Jacobs, 8. Erice, J I1I 1 Blaoklock, T. Brodie, A. T. Bate, and X B. \ anco (hon. secretary). Tho Canterbury Cricket Association wroto thanking the Ideal association for tho kind attention fchowu to fhojr representative team during tho recent visit to Wellington. An application was received from the secretary of tho Thorndon Cricket Club requesting that Dixon, who had been playing for the Old Boys Club, might be transferred to tho Thorndon Club. The transfer was refused. The secretary of tho Waiwqtw Club in quested tho association to arrange that teams going out to Hutt and Pctono should lo&ve, by thel 1.20 p.m. train. It was decided to ask all teams going out tol go by the early train. The chairman stated that in regard to tho Pluuket Shield match no definite information had yet been received from Auckland. It; was, however, decided to select the Wellington team for the match. Tho Wadestown Cricket Club wrote regarding tho alleged inbompetency of certain umpires who had controlled somo of thpir matches. It was decided lo a&k the Wadostown Club for further information and definite charges.
