MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.
[By Telegeaph. — Special to The Post.) TAIHAPE, This Day. The Minister of Lands leaves for Wellington to-day. He will spend a couple of houra at Marton Junction to inspect the suggested site for a dniry school. AUCKLAND, This Day. Sir Joseph Ward arrived from Wellington this morning. He will be present at the "social" to Mr. Alfred Kidd, city member, this evening and returns to Wellington on Sunday. In an interview with a Star reporter he stated that the new post office had been definitely fixed for the railway station site. The Premier will tour a great part of the provincial districts a little later next month.
By notice in the Gazette the issue of money orders and delivery of postal matter to Chester Howard, Ship Hotel, Collins-street, Hobart, is prohibited. The St. Mark's Sunday school scholars will hold! their annual picnic at the Upper Hutfc to-morrow. A special train will leave Te Aro at 9.45 a.m. and will arrive on the return journey at 6.23 p.m. If wet the party Till assemble in the schoolroom, in the afternoon. v
