DUNEDIN ITEMS. PRODUCE MARKET DULL.
[Bt Telegraph. —Spkcial to The Post.] DUNEDIN, This Day. The produce market is fearfully dull, and at present sales are hard to effect. This specially refers to oate and chaff. Good feed to-d-.y was worth only 2s 4d a bushel, while good prime heavy oat sheaf chaff (old) sold from £3 10s 'to £4 per ton, while new season's stuff has been coming forward lately in a remarkably good condition, and has sold at prices as low as £3 per ton ex truck. This must be satisfactory news to the stablemen and others who have had such a hard time owing to tall prices during 1 the past twelve months. INCREASE OF DRUNKENNESS.
