PILES.

During the progress of the stock sales at Matawhero (Waikato), a few day 3 ago, a man tied up a valuable sheep dog to a fence. He heard it yelping for some time, and upon investigation, 'he found that near where he had placed the animal thero was a hive of bee 3, and the latter had attacked the dog, stinging its tongue.
