WAYLAID AND SHOT. AN IRISH INCIDENT.
By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Conj right. (Received January 11, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 10th January. While driving to attend a county council meeting at Clare in order to vote for a particular candidate for the post of returning officer, Councillor O'Louglilin was waylaid and shot in the chest. The bullet was extracted.
