Shearing operations are in full "swing in tho Colyton district, and woolgrowers report that the # clip is a most satisfactory ono, being considerably greater than was expected. ' Continued fine weather has enabled pastoralists throughout Fcildiug's surrounding country-side to complete thoir operations. Agriculturists, however, aro wanting more wet, and won't bo very happy until a good downpour comes along to refresh tho earth. In common with tho rest of the Dominion very hot weather has been experienced here this week, and the glass shows no signs of a fall. Meanwhile there is a good deal of soiling and buying of stork all over this district.
