[Bt Tblbgiuxh. — Special to TflE Post.l DUNEDIN, This Day. Thero ia a feeling of anrest among the tramway employees owing to the long delay that has taken place in tho Arbitration Court giving an interpretation of the clause referring to the working hours. An application for the interpretation of the award was filed on 24th July, but was held over pending further information which tho Court desired in connection with tho employment ol sparo men. This information waa supplied to tho Court at the last sitting here, but since (hen nothing further has been heard of the matter. Tho wheat market is extremely quiet at present ; practically no business of any moment is being done. Melbourne has been offering from 4s 4d to 4s 6d a bushel, f.q.b., and it is understood that even at this money no transactions have boen recorded. A' still further drop in tho price of bread is looked for.
