The weather conditions were far better than they were on the previous day, and the consequence was that the attendance was largely increased. The sum of £17,754 was put through the totalisator for the meeting, as against £17,260 at the corresponding meeting last year. The dividend paid by Assayer in the Brunswick Hurdles was £2 2s, and by Sardonyx £1 ss.
