ASSASSINATED.
DIRECTOR OF A RUSSIAN PWSQN KILLED. fPRSSS ASSOCIATION^ ST. PETERSBURG, 31st January. A workman assassinated M. Gudima, Director of the Derjabri prwon, St. Petersburg, where most P* the political prisoners are confined. The crime was committed while M. Gudima was walking in the principal street on Vaesili Island, St. Petersburg. The assassin succeeded in making his escape. M. Gudima had been accused of maltreating revolutionaries. TIMELY DISCOVERY OF A BOMB. (Received February 1, 8,30 a.m.) ST. PETERSBURG, 31st Jan. A bomb, with a lighted fase attached, was discovered at the door of a school in Odessa, where there were seven hundred children.
