The underwriter!! aro advised by cable that a firo occurred in No. 4 hold of the steamer Perthshire. Part of the cargo had to bo jettisoned. Regarding the flro on the Waimate, lid vices state that it occurred in No. 4 hold, aud was extinguished. Only slight damage was caused, and the steamer resumed her voyage. WAIPARA FLOATED. BRISBANE, 6th June. The steamer Wcipara, which grounded at Moreton Bay, was floated off, and has resumed her voyage.
