MINERS' CONGRESS.
EMPLOYMENT OF WOMEN. tPBESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received Juno 7, 8.40 a.m.) LONDON, 6th June. The Miners' International Congress has recommended that legislation be initroduccd abolishing the employment of women in tho mining industry. One hundred and sixteen delegates, representing 1,282,000 trado onioaists, are attending the congress. It has been resolved to demand- the appointment of working men inspectors elected by tho miners and paid by ihe State.
