ALLEGED ASSAULT.
[BY TKLEGKArH — PKESS ASSOCIATION } CHRISTCHURCH, 29th December. A youth named Arthur Woolston, alias Sloan, was committed for sentence today on a charge of having unlawfully entered tbc Cafe de Paris Hotel by night on 27*,h December, with intent to commit a crime, with assaulting Guthrie! Orton Bradley with intent to do grievous bodily harm, and farther with having committed actual bodily harm. Bradley, who was assistant manager at the hotel, had entered v d;i>«cncd room in the hotel when }ie was struck on the head with a poker by accused, who had been discharged about a fortnight pre< viouslr. • \
