RIFLE SHOOTING. [BY TELEGRAPH - PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
WANGANUI, This Day. The Wanganui Rifle Association meeting was concluded this morning, when the final grand aggregate match, was fired. Private A. Marrett (Taranaki) won the Championship Belt with 299 points; Rifleman Speck (Huiroa Rifles), 295, second; Rifleman Ferguson (Hunterville), 293, third ; and Lieut. Holland (Petone), 290, fourth. The teams match was won ' by Opaki (1214), Woodville (1203), Palmerston Rifles (1184), juid Tar<maki Rifles (1146) next. Six other teams competed.
