ARBITRATION COURTS AWARD

The nivard is unnounced of the Arbitration Court established by virtuo of the Anglo-Fioncli Convention to nrse&H the amount of indemnity to be paid by tho British Government to French citizens for abandoning theii establßuincHts und giving up their fishing occupation on the "treaty shore" of Newfoundland. The claimants aie awarded £55,000 compensation. The arbitrators — consisting of an officer of each nation — in their judgment are in agreement on all points.
