LARGE FALLING-OFF IN CONSUMPTION. [r-BESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received October 12, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, 11th October. There was a decrease in the consumption of beer in the United Kingdom last year of a million and a half barrels as compared with 1900, and a decrease of four million gallons in the consumption of spirits as compared with 1901.
