SETTLEMENT IN CANADA.
TWO MILLION ACRES BOUGHT BY YANKEES. [PRESS ASSOCIATION.] OTTAWA, 15th November. The Province of Ontario has sold to the American syndicate, which is promoting a scheme of settlement from the rUnited States, two million acres at 50 cents (2s) an acre. The tend will be resold by the syndicate at a maximum of 3 dollars (12s) an acre, with a maximum of 160 acres to each settler.
