FOOTBALL.
The Secretary of the Taranaki Union Informs us that the match between Wellington and Taranaki will be played' on Thursday next, not Wednesday as previously announced. A match will be played on the Athletic Park oh Wednesday nest, between representative teams of the Wellington and Horowhenua Unions. The following will represent Wellington :— Full-back; Slater; throe-quarters, E. Ckvidge, Bush, and I. Johnson; five-eighth, wrigleyj half, F. Roberts; wing forwards, Mann and W. J. Spencer; forwards, Osborne and Wai. Spencer (front), Leveraedge, J. Spencer, M'lnnes, Moiiing, and M'Lach. lan.. Any of the above who are unable to play are requested to inform Mr. Ellison or the Secretary 0/ the union at their earliest convenience, 10 that their places can be filled.
