CYCLING NEWS.
[PBESS ASSOCIATION.] Adelaide, 25Lh September. McDonald, a telegraph operator, cycled from Port Darwin in 28J- days, a week ahead of the record. Dunedin, 25th September. The weather was only moderately favourable for the opening of the cycling season, which took the form of a procession in which close on 350 cyclists took part, followed by a sports meeting at the- Caledonian ground, attended by some 5000 people.
