AMERICAN WAR TAXATION.
ADOPTED Bl' THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. Washington, 30th April, The House of Representatives has adopted the War Revenue Bill, which proposed taxation to the amount of 100,000,000d0l (£20,000,000). New York, 30th April. The steamer Paris, which it was recently stated had been purchased by the American Government as a cruiser, has arrived at New York.
