This will necessitate re-organising the staff, aud at a special meeting of the Board held yesterday the following resolution was passed: — " That whilst recognising the many valued services rendered by Mr. Wolters and Mr. Darroch (clerk and road overseer respectivety), three months' notice be 'given them that their services are no longer required, as it is absolutely necessary to Lave a. frees hand in the appointment of an engineer."
