The Registrar of Electors has been notified that the writ was issued to-day for the Awarua election. It will probably be in his hands on the 26th, and, if so, the election will take place before the 16th Augusfc
The Mataura Ensign hears that Mr. J. J. Meikle, who has frequently petitioned the House for redress for false imprisonment, has decided to run for the Awarua seat.
