The Mayor of Dunedin has given notice of motion with reference to the Looal Govern* ment Bill, setting forth that the ohanges are of so widespread and grave a oharaoter, and if given effeot to are calonlated for weal or woe to bo largely influence future local government, that if the expressed intention of the Premier to pate the Bill this Bession , is carried out, the time whioh will be affoi ded to looal bodies to coneider and discuss the Bill is inadequate, and that it is not desirable a that tho Bill should pasa this Boesion. « (Our Own Corretpondent.)
