• LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. THI BA.NK OF NEW ZEALAND. On the motion of the Hon. C. C. Bowen for the adoption of the report of the Joint Bank of New Zealand Committee reoommending that the Committee be a seorefc one, a division was called for by the Hon. S. E. Shrimski. The motion was oarricd by 26 votes to 6. The names of the Hon. Meaais. Ormond, Walker, and Jennings were added to the Committee.
