THE MEAT FREEZING INDUSTRY.
At a meeting of tho Parliamentary Committee on Frozen Meat this morning, resolutions to the following effect were carried : — That the Government be asked to pasi aßill which will enable a proposed company or association to take over eiisting -freezing works, and to erect new works if neco.-sary ; also, to enable & company or association to levy a tax per head of sheep, and to take Bteps for taking over the existing freezing works, and making arrangements for unloading meat in London or other parts of England, and distributing it there or elsewhere.
