The cattle-laden stevmer Southern Cross, whi h a few weeks ago called into Wellington on hor trip from Sydney to England, has oalled at Monto Video for ooal and water. Her car^o of sto?k is in good condition. (Received Angust 16, 10.30 a.m.) London, 15th August. The Tokoa's sheep averaged alive 353. Tho Southern Cross has loit one horse, 21 cattlo (out ot hor total of 550), and 30 sheep.
