Mr. Mackorrow, a Manchester shipper, reports that he has sold beforehand tbe whole of the Timaru's cargo at a satisfactory price, which proves the readiness of Manchester t-> begin direct trade. He desires the colonies to know this, in order to dispel doubts. Other offers will follow. One steamer with mutton, tallow, and bntter will leave Australia for Manohoster in November.
