Otago still refuses to give way in favour Of Auckland. The United Tradesmen and the Drapers' Clubs met yesterday afternoon for the first time this season. The former won by 15 points to "9. The oommittee of the Wellington Junior Rugby Union met last night, at Mr. J. Skinner's. Fixtures for IBth May were drawn as follows : — Senior Cup- Koro Eoro v. Empire, at Petone (Mr. Miiirhead referee) ; St John's v. Addington, at Island Bay (Mr. Hurrell referee). Junior Cvp — Koro Koro v. Adiinjfton, at Rarori (Mr. Hart referee) ; Merivale v. St. John's, at Petone (Mr. Barnes referee). The olubs constituting the proposed Waipawa Rugby Union have held, a meeting at Waipawa, and deoided to join the Hawkes Bay Eugby Union as a southern branch, in accordance with the recommendation of the Hon. Sec. of the New Zealand Rugby Union. This will add some six clnbs to the strength of the Hawkes Bay Union, and extend its area through the Hawkes Bay province.
