In the Magistrate's Court to-day , the oase against Dnnlop, shopkeeper, for failing to olose on Saturday afternoon, was dismissed, the Magistrate holding that there was no evidence before him that seven days' notice was given of the Council meeting at whioh tbe special resolution wss passed. The oases against Adair and Lewis were then taken, and the Inspeotor proceeded to show tbat seven days' notice mi given, but the information was found to be technically faulty, and was dismissed. A freßh information will be laid.
