Crosbie, of Hansen & Crosbie, suggested that a higher duty bo put on brushes. Jas. Wilkinson, and Geo. Perrctt senr. and jnnr , manufacturers of tips and heol and toe plates, asked for a higher duty on the articles mentioned. M. Kirkbride (President) and K. Hall (Secretary) were present as a deputation for the Agricultural Association, and gave evidence suggesting the equalising of duties on articles and implements used by farmers and agricultural people.
