IBy Telegram.] [united pbess association.] Auckland, This Dat. Forty unemployed with families have petitioned the Hon. W. Jennings to get them employment on tho alternate roadworks system. The Minister for Labour informs Mr. Jennings that he will do his best to get them placed on one of the Government alternate-work settlements.
