FBy Telegbaph.J i united pbesß association. i Auckland, 27th August. Captain William Souter expired suddenly of heart disease at Cambridge, Waikato. In the early days Captain Souter did a large trade with his own vessels between Auckland and tho Australian ports, and he was for many years in business on the Thames goldfield. He leaves a widow and six children. Mr. J. C. Hanna, at the meet of the Pakuranga hounds, had his shoulder dislocated. His horse fell at a fence, and rolled on him. Mr. Hanna is progressing favourably. Invebcabgill. 27th August. The body of an infant was found on Sunday in a small creek near Fortrose, having apparently been about a week in the water
