I By Tslegeaph. I {Ow Own Correspondent.) Gbeytown Nobth. This Day. Messrs. W. Haigh, Jos. Quin, and F. Amos leave to-day for Coolgardie. Mr. Haigh was presented with an address from the Brass Band last night. All were banquetted and presented with illuminated addresses by the Firo Brigade, of which Mr. Haigh was Lieutenant. Mastebton, This Day. Mr. Walter Charles Perry was married to-day to Miss Annie Jane Yates. The ceremony was performed in St. Matthew's Churoh by the Rev. A. V. Grace, of Greytown, and was witnessed by hundreds of persons. Mr. Perry was presented last night with a handsome marble clock by hia athletic friends. A man giving the name of Robert Grahamwas sentenced to a month's hard labour this morning for the larceny of a awag. He is to be charged this afternoon with the larceny of a saddle. The Wairarapa North Liberal Association last night reyiowed tho work of the Parliamentary session, and approved most of the measures passed. A successful trial of Smith <fc Palmer's stump extractor was made to-day. Dr. Butement commenced a series of ambulance lectures to the members of the Municipal Fire Brigade last night. Mr. Turnbull, Wellington representative of the firm of Butterworth Bros., received a telegram last evening announcing the death af his father in Dunedin.
