In moving' the adoption by the Legislative Assembly of the report of the Soleot Committee set up to enquire into the working* of the Labour Bureau, Mr. Fitzgerald said the Committee had deoided that the institution had been a total failure, because its operations had been confined to Sydney. The Premier defended the Bureau, and opposed the recommendation that S now State Department for the oontrol of industry be estalished. The debate was adjourned.
