♦ weekly parado of tho Wellington Navols was hold last night, LieutenantCommander Duncan and Lioutenants 801 l and Humo being tho officers presont. Bombardiers Withers and Lynch put tho 7-in. gun squads through their drill at the Garri«on Hall, while Cm. gnu men received similar instruction at Mount Cook. Class-firing for both poriods will bo continued on Saturday noxt, commenojng at 1.30 sharp. The first and second periods will bo &ted at tbe cadet and long ranges respectively. Arrangements have been mado to enable rocruits as well as traiuod men to tiro. Ammunition will bo suppliod on the range. There will bo a gunnery class in mufti to-morrow evening at Mount Cook for tho 0-inoh gun squads. Leading Seaman Moore, Wellington Navats, has passed as a firat-olass petty officer, and Leading Seamen Gell and Carmiolmol have recoivod certificates as having passed the examination for seoond-class petty officers.
