With the assistance of A. M'Konzio, of the opposition line of A. Hall & Co., illo driver of the mail coach cut tho dona animal adrift, nnd extricated the others. M'Konzio's coach had previously crossed safely, .his coach being orapty. The main coaon had five passongen aboard, who worogot ashore with difficulty. Accident* ace of freqbent occurrence at Lorry's Creek, and loud complaints are made at it not boing; bridged. Mr. R. Reeves, M.H-R., who was on his way from Nelson, had been detained sererol days at Cronadnn owing to tho flooded stato. of tberivor.
