Tho outing yesterday in connection with the above proved to bo, from all accounts;. one of tho oest yet held. Tho party wcro provided with every convenience at, M'Nab's Gardens, and a very good programme of sports and other amusements was carried out undor the direction of tho following officers — Presidont, Mr. W. H. Smith; treasurer, Mr. C. Grainey; secretary, Mr. D. Taylor ; oommitteo, Messrs. W. Wolland, J. Leckie, 8.. Vitico, WManji, W. Sheppdrd, T. Marshall, F. Guy, E. Kirkland, H. Booker, and H. Parker ; nandioappers, Messrs. H. Parker, W. Sheppard, and E. Kirkland ; starter, Mr. T. Marshall ; judge, Mr C. Grainey ; referee, Mr J. Leckie, The festivities of the day were wound np> with a promenade concert and dance at tbo Princess Theatre, Tory-street, in tho ovening. There was a large attendance, orer 80 couples staying to tho danco, which was kept, up with vigour until the small hours of this morning, music being provided by Minifies string band, and H. Boeoker acting as M.C. The contributors of songs to tho concort were Messrs. Monteith, Follas, Homman, Woodcook, Swift, Rothorham, and Lennox. An item loft over from the days' programme, namely drawing tho pig blindfolded, filled up an interval in the concert, some fearful and wonderful animals being drawn, niuoli to the amusement of the audience. Tho first prizo was awarded by tho judgo (Mf . H. Boeoker) to Mr. C. Swiney, and the second to Mr. J. T. Folia?. It ib intended to organise a quarterly social gathering (similar to the one held last night.
